Behind all the great design at Fine Kitchens & Baths is Patricia Dunlop. Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer, Patricia Dunlop, has 20 years experience as a Kitchen and Bathroom Designer. Before becoming a kitchen and bathroom designer for residential homes, she designed commercial kitchens and bathrooms for five-star hotels in various countries. Her experience of living in different countries and exposure to different cultures has broadened her understanding of how spaces can work differently for different people.

Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer
Patricia became a Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer (CMKBD) in 2011, after having been a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) for 10 years and a Certified Bath Designer (CBD) for 3 years, These are qualifications set by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) in terms of education, experience, and examination. One of the requirements of being a Certified Kitchen or Bath Designer is continuing education, and the firm is committed to being up-to-date and informed on all aspects of kitchen and bath design, technology, and products.
Patricia is also a Certified Aging Place Specialist (CAPS), having completed the requirements of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Through the use of universal design principles, she can work with you to create a safe, comfortable, and more independent life in your home; both now and in the future. A well-designed space works for everyone, regardless of their abilities.
Prior to becoming involved in the Kitchen and Bath business, Patricia’s previous experience was in commercial interiors and hotel design and project management in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and North America. Working on commercial kitchens and Five-Star hotel suites has enriched Patricia’s residential kitchen and bathroom designs.
This rare combination of in-depth education and diverse experience brings a unique perspective to your project. As an interior designer, she is very aware of integrating your kitchen or bath with the surrounding spaces. The experience of living in different countries and cultures has broadened her understanding of how spaces can work differently for different people. She is creative and practical; the function of your space is as important as the look, and there are many ways to achieve design impact without sacrificing functionality. She approaches every project with sensitivity to your needs in regard to lifestyle and level of investment and ensures that the final product reflects your personal style.
Patricia Dunlop has a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and became a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) in 1997 and a member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) in 2013. She is active in several professional organizations and has held leadership positions on the chapter and national level.
